Suspicious Package

Macaque rocks once again this Thursday, May 15th!!! @ Hugs 106 N 6th St (between Bedford Ave & Berry St) Doors at 8pm.

On May 15th in the vicinity of Hugs in Williamsburg, the Earth’s magnetic pull will briefly be disrupted by extreme primal energy thereby creating an affect on humans where one alcoholic beverage’s strength equals that of three.
SOOOO…Get ready for the magic, the drama, the outlandish proclamations, etc.
Hope to see you there!
We did mention that it’s free, right?
Dead Herring

See the rest of the photos by Nicki Ishmael.
Dead Herring is one of those rare, wonderful places where you can see a great, eclectic mix of music, have a cheap drink, and get to hang with some really cool people. The venue has this, “best house party you ever went to” vibe, but the proprietors had a nonchalant professionalism about them, keeping everything running smoothly. Needless to say, we had a great time playing and checking some really good bands.
Thanks to everyone at the house and Apollo Heights for having us on the bill with them. We heart you guys, Blood City and Love or Perish!
We can’t wait to get back to see some good shows and hang out. Check them out on myspace.

Goodbye Blue Monday
We are pleased to be playing a show at the delightful experimental venue Goodbye Blue Monday in Bushwick Brooklyn Friday January 18th! Goodbye Blue Monday was voted “Best Place to see Up and Coming Bands before They Embrace Their Own Hype” by the Village Voice this year, (well, it may be a little late for us!). The venue is laid back and our evening there is poised for serious fun!
With Andy D on the bill at 11 and Macaque rounding out the night at 12 you can’t beat that for a Friday night! Oh yeah, it’s FREE but feel free to contribute to the bucket fund to get MCQ home.
